We live a couple hours away from both my and my husband's family and this year Halloween falls on a Wednesday so we won't be traveling to thier houses to Trick or Treat this year. I thought it would be fun to send each set of grandparents a picture of the kids in their costumes and if I planned it right, they will receive them in the mail on Halloween.
I decided to decorate the envelopes wiht a Halloween themed fingerprint design to personalize them a bit more. I had my oldest make the black prints and my youngest make the orange prints.
Then with a sharpie marker I drew a spider web in the return address corner, legs on the black spiders and faces on the orange pumpkins.
Address them and stuff them!
I made this photo in Corel Paint Shop Pro, uplaoded it to the internet and printed it out at my local one-hour photo center.<a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.stickponycreations.blogspot.com%2F2012%2F10%2Ftrick-or-treat.html&media=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.stickponycreations.blogspot.com%2F2012%2F10%2Ftrick-or-treat.html&description=When%20you%20can't%20go%20to%20grandparents%20to%20trick-or-treat%2C%20send%20them%20a%20picture%20of%20the%20kids%20in%20their%20costumes%20so%20that%20it%20arrives%20on%20Halloween.%20Decorate%20the%20envelope%20with%20fingerprint%20art.%20Stick%20Pony%20Creations%0A" class="pin-it-button" count-layout="horizontal"><img border="0" src="//assets.pinterest.com/images/PinExt.png" title="Pin It" /></a>
